The boot is constructed with CCM’s RFM composite material using a one-piece design, which enhances energy transfer and responsiveness while keeping the overall weight down. This single-piece construction eliminates the need for an outsole, allowing players to get closer to the ice for better control and stride efficiency. The boot’s forward pitch supports explosive movement and quicker transitions.

Anatomical shaping and multi-density memory foam padding around the ankles provide a locked-in fit that minimizes heel movement while maximizing comfort. The XF90 is fully heat moldable, ensuring a customized fit tailored to the player’s foot. This personalized structure helps reduce break-in time and increases control during play.

A metatomic tongue with molded reinforcement offers protection from lace bite and impacts while maintaining forward flex for fluid skating mechanics. Inside, the TotalDri liner helps wick moisture and maintain a dry, secure feel throughout games or practices.
