At the core of the FT8 is a one-piece boot construction made from CCM’s RFM composite material. The one-piece design eliminates excess layers and seams, creating a more direct energy path between the player and the ice.

The FT8 features a modern, low-profile fit that wraps the foot closely for improved control and responsiveness. Inside, memory foam comfort pads help form a secure heel lock and reduce negative space, allowing for quicker cuts, tighter turns, and better acceleration.

The tongue features multi-layered felt with injected reinforcement for improved comfort and lace bite protection, while maintaining flexibility where needed for proper stride mechanics. The skate’s interior is lined with CCM’s TotalDri Pro liner, which manages moisture and enhances durability through repeated wear. Underneath, the FT8 is equipped with STEP Steel runners for a strong edge and consistent glide.
